The Ortega family began doing backyard tune-ups in the early 1990s; in 2000 they opened a single-bay garage on Dewey Street. Two-plus decades later the brand operates two brick-and-mortar locations plus mobile “road-rescue” vans, all overseen by founder/master tech Gonzalo Ortega (ASE A1–A8). Ortega Auto Repair—branded publicly as Ortega Auto Tech—serves motorists across Broward and north-west Miami-Dade.
